Through the Force, we are able to see the path of destiny as well as each individual's role in it. It is our duty to ensure that a person's, or even a society's, destiny is not tainted by the interference of a outsider. Outsiders are those with no role in the destiny for which they hope to involve themselves in. While the future is ever changing, and while we make a point not to involve ourselves in the shaping of the future, there are some futures that are not meant to be or are too dangerous to everyone to allow to happen. Such futures are those which effect not only the society or individual being intruded upon, but also those who have nothing to do with the destiny or the intrusion.

The Keepers of the Library of Eternity are also tasked with communicating with other societies' Historians and providing a means with which they can communicate with one another for whatever shared destinies may bond them. It is through this task that we also recruit new Keepers of the Library of Eternity. It is because of this that some Societal Historians are also Keepers of the Library of Eternity.

We are not to be mistaken for an Association, as we welcome historians from all groups and societies. It should be noted, however, that we do not tolerate any Keeper who steps beyond the boundaries of their post nor will we accept any new Keeper who does not share the vision and mission of the Library of Eternity.



Throughout this site there will be many terms that could be mistaken as most of the content is "roleplayed" or stated while "in-character" so I will take a moment to explain some of the terms.

In this site, Roleplay Groups, Player Associations, etc. are referred to as "Societies" and their respective Roleplay Coordinators are referred to as "Historians". RP groups that choose to become affiliated with Eternity are referred to as "Members".

The term "Keeper" refers to an individual holding a position within Eternity. As an example, an individual serving as a Sentinel (rank within Eternity) would be referred to as a "Keeper of Eternity" or a "Sentinel of Eternity".

The term "Outsider" refers to an individual or group that is not a part of the roleplay event.
