Conflict is a necessary evil of existence. It is through conflict that societies are tested and strengthened...or overcome and destroyed. We, the Keepers of the Library of Eternity, are tasked with watching and recording the histories of the present Age. At times, we are also tasked with ensuring the proper course of history in order to protect the future.

Welcome to the Library of Eternity, home to the Keepers of Eternity.

    We are a coalition of players and roleplay groups within Star Wars Galaxies (SWG). In time this may grow to include other Massively Multi-player Online Games, but for now our humble beginnings are within SWG.

    The idea to create this group came to me while coordinating an event for my roleplay (RP) group on the Shadowfire Galaxy (server). I was not even available to take part in the event I coordinated, however, upon my arrival that night i received a few panic-stricken messages from my fellow members telling me of outsiders showing up unannounced. While I would've found the situation interesting and worked it into the story on the fly, the situation was a bit too much for my fellow members.

    Now I know there are others out there like me who love a good bit of chaos to spice things up, but there are also those who completely despise anything that isn't planned and set in stone beforehand. My fellow members were like that and are recently beginning to think outside of the box a bit. This coalition is a means of gathering information on all of the various RP groups and Player Associations (PA) within SWG and providing to them a means of communication and collaboration. It is also a means by which new players, who are interested in roleplay and all it has to offer, can research the various RP groups, PA's, etc. and find the group that is right for them.

    Do not misunderstand. We are, by no means, attempting to micro-manage any existing or new RP groups. We simply seek to bring them together and encourage group collaboration and bring about some truly awesome events. There will also be times when we, the Keepers of Eternity, will coordinate a massive collaborative event with interested RP groups who are affiliated with us. I know I would love to see an RP event that was server-wide or even cross-server. Yes I know you think that's impossible given the game mechanics, but trust me it's very possible and would probably intrigue many of you.
